Girlscout Season

My main project while at Alexander Isley was working on pattern design for a series of six Girl Scout books coming out later this year. This is my favorite one of the set, and will be on the FRONT COVER!!! (well... ~ 3/4 of an inch by however tall the book is... but I am still very excited!!)

During my last week at Alexander Isley, I got to create some drawings for one of the girl scout books they're putting together. These and a few others all got turned into vectors & colored, but I think they're kind of nice little pencil sketches.

I really wanted to do this as an orchestra, but since Andy Samberg is dressed up with a tux and a string ensemble, the idea got shut down. (In an orchestra, the archer was going to be launching an arrow off of his harp, the fish was going to be the conductor, and the balance zodiac would be playing two balanced triangles in the percussion section. Would love to find the time to make that one happen...)
