? ? ? / narwhals

woke up to an npr story earlier this week on a team of scientists living in the arctic trying to record songs of narwhals. the whole story sounded so absurd I was certain I was still dreaming... good thing nick was around to inform me that narwhals are not, in fact, mythical creatures as I had always suspected...

aren't narwhals sooooo absurdly wonderful?? i'm so glad you know finally that narwhals are in fact present on this earth, even if there's no way they actually belong here...

i was convinced for a long time that i had invented Venus Fly Traps (not the name, but the concept and the appearance), until finally someone proved that they did, in fact, exist. but that was only until i was 9.

probably narwhals don't belong anywhere, though I suppose the arctic is the best place... although it would be pretty awesome if they lived in treeees hehe
